Savoy Properties Represents Plato’s Closet and Clothes Mentor
David Brader and Brian Kelley of Savoy Properties represented Plato’s Closet in leasing two new locations in the St. Louis area. In addition, Plato’s Closet ownership will also be opening a Clothes Mentor franchise next door to one of the Plato’s Closet locations. This will be the first Clothes Mentor location in St. Louis.
Plato’s Closet will move into 6,000 SF at Manchester Center located at 14206 Manchester Rd, Manchester, MO 63011. The second new location will be 5,828 SF at Ronnie’s Plaza located at 36-37 Ronnie’s Plaza, St. Louis, MO 63126. Next door, Clothes Mentor is taking 5,690 SF located at 34-35 Ronnie’s Plaza. All stores are estimated to open mid to late August 2014.
Plato’s Closet leads the nation in the buying and selling of name brand, gently-used apparel and accessories for teens and twenty-somethings. There are over 350 franchised stores in the US and Canada.
Clothes Mentor buys and sells gently used designer fashions appealing to women aged 25-65. There are over 100 franchised stores in the US.
“We are very excited to provide more options for quality resale in the St. Louis area, by relocating or first store and opening a second Plato’s Closet, we can better serve our target market of teens and twenty-somethings looking for gently-used, on-trend apparel and accessories,” said store co-owner Scott Dyer. “With the opening of the first Clothes Mentor store in St. Louis, we will be able to fill the need for quality, gently-used items for the modern woman.”
